Thanksgiving Weekend, how has it affected you earnings?

Mine seem to have taken a big dip today...about.. 1/3 less the normal/average

 

Normal amounts here.. might have just been a bad day for you, thing is though, that day is come and gone, time to write more content!!

 

Mine have doubled actually... but then again my earnings aren't great ..
I guess people like to go online and play games on thanksgiving??..

its a bit early for traffic/earnings to die off. wednesday and thursday will suck. friday probably too as people hit the malls for sales.

 

My earning is always up and down. There is no figure that I can refer to to measure whether it's affected by holiday or not. But from average, it seems like it's normal.

 

It really depends on your niche.

 

Traffic's about the same, CTR and CPC have dropped though. Might just be my topic

 

absolutly sucks! I haven't even earned a buck today and its a 12:30PM. Normally around this time I'm close to being in the double digits! MY ECOM has also droped about 3 bucks! Click through rate has droped by about 3%! Yeah, yesterday and today have been a pain! Could any of this be because of the holiday? This is the 1st holiday since we have had adsense.

 

who knows, people will tell you it's due to a various number of things...

i guess it depends on your demographic

 

My return is down by about half today. But why would people be on the web when they could be enjoying the company of friends and family?

 

30 cents more, I almost make my first 50 cents a day.

 

Well Thursday was actually my highest earning day for the month.

Do you guys think that if people were to find out that you were using a website to make money by getting people to click on the ads, that people might rebel and refuse to click on the ads? People can get weird about things like this. When I spoke to the head of the Student Affairs department he said he thought people would stop clicking them if they found out what they were for?

 

The thing is that advertising is in effect what drives most websites. Instead of paying to have access to the content provided on a site, people "pay" by having ads displayed to them on webpages.

Let's take TV for an example. Even though you pay for your sattallite TV/ cable TV you are still being shown ads. You know that the advertisers pay for those ads. That doesn't stop you from watching TV or buying the products that are advertised.

 

I had above average results on thanskgiving. I was a bit suprised.

 

TV ads are a bit less interactive. A better example would be the public television telethons. Some people just actively "won't give"

Its a curiosity. The human ego!

Thanksgiving day was horrible for me but today(friday) I am back on track.

 

Well strange to me sometimes i get many clicks and sometimes, like i said friday the day is not so good. So, like i said fridays sucks for me
