I don't like your avatar too. Actually I don't like avatars which contain person himself in forums. I prefer some funny cartoon or text, just to make the boring post he makes little more interesting. ;)

Why rep. giving belongs to an avatar?
Why does avatar makes you feel bad?
Its hard to fit to everyones opinion.
Thats normal. We all have different opinions and we all can have different style of avatars.
But give negative rep. just for the avatar you do not like is really stupid.

Person, who did it (gived red rep.) should grow up himself!

    King,
No, I do get it. I get that you don't like my avatar. I understand that to you it appears to glorify the Devil. I understand that it could offend some people. If you are the person that gave me the red rep, then I honestly do thank you, and I've green rep'ed you to help prove it.

Why do I honestly thank you? Because you made me stop and think. I found humor in the situation because someone who takes such offense to an image that they would give me negetive reputation for it also tried to tell me to grow up. That's very funny to me because in my culture, grown ups are taught tolerance. Yet, here was someone being intolerant of a simple costume telling me to grow up.

That made me think further. "A picture is worth a 1000 words" is the saying, but can 1000 words be enough to give a complete message? Apparently not, because my 1000 words were meant to be light-hearted and fun, but to some it is a personal affront to their core values. My simple picture is apparently so offensive to the core values of some that I am judged solely on a 62 x 80 pixel picture. Again, a joke to me because in my religious education I was taught "judge not lest ye be judged", and in my culture a sign of an enlightened mind is one that evaluates the ideas a person generates regardless of the color of their skin, their gender, or the fact that they have horns glued to their head. The very same post that you gave me red rep for also got me a green rep for the ideas in that post. So, it is funny to me (in that slow British wit way) that one man judges my idea, likes it, and gives me green rep, while another man judges my image, gives me red rep, and asks what's wrong with me.

It is such a striking dichotomy that all one can do is laugh. So thank you. Thank you for making me laugh in a way that I haven't laughed in years. Take heart, my avatar will be changing soon.
