Thanks Feature

    This is a great forum with lots of features.

    I good feature would be a thanks button for someone’s post. It would be a lot better than lots of people saying thanks throughout a listing.

    All the thanks could be collected as some sort of rating system as well.

    Not really. The main idea of it would be to stop lots of thank you and thanks posts. It can also use a simular reputation system as an advantage.

    Yeah, I've seen that feature on some other forums. Well, rep feature is good, but some members don't even know about it. It's kind of hidden in the corner. :D

    Something like this was suggested before but never got an answer (I don't think). The previous suggestion was allowing members to buy drinks for other members if they thought their posts were particularly worthy.

    There is a Thank You Hack over on vBorg...

    I think this is what you are wanting, but I'm not sure if DP is willing to implement such a thing. (There is a slightly different version for 3.5)
