thats what i'm currently making with about 500-700 visitors a day. hopefully soon i'll be at a steady 10 a day and up to 20 a day. A good goal i want to work toward now is 50 a day and then 100 a day. 100 a day would be great extra income. but it's like everyone says, more visitors = more money between adsense and whatever else it is that you sell on your sites. i've learned a lot from being here. i went from under a dollar a day a month ago to 5-10 a day. just want to say thanks to everyone in these boards it helped a lot.
First off it's all about traffic, the more you have the more you make, even if you only got a 1% ctr. If you're doing everything you can to get the ctr up, your site just isn't cut out for it, at least thats what i've come to. then you're about getting more traffic. Not just traffic but give people a reason to come back. My site that i'm making 5-10 a day right now just sells my wow guide but once my new site with forums for members is up it will give people who already bought a reason to come back everyday. This is just my opinion btw it's what i feel changed my income. But I went from september to jan with making $30. I barely had a hundred people a day if even that coming to my site. Another thing you can try to do is get something on your site onto digg.com that really drives in traffic. i got a page in my aboutitworld site on there, i had like 80k people view it that day and made almost $200
np just stick around here and read and learn. thats what i did. only thing i could probably do now to get more income from my clicks is some type of tracker.
It's quite amazing though when you think about it. You're just showing peoples ads, basically doing nothing besides initial code setup, and making money. to make even 200 a month is great for doing that nothing. that could be a bill paid or something.
Yep... keep on posting your progress it serves as a boost too all us ppl trying to make it big with Adsense Congrats buddy and wish you success
I don't think it is that easy. I usually spend several hours a day updating my website, link exchanging, directory submission, marketing, etc.. How can you call it free money. No way
I could not agree more. The only free money I can thinkf of is from ancestral property For adsense, it requires a lot of hardwork to gain popularity/traffic and smart ad placements
ya you're right. well once you get that done for the most part theres nothing more than maintenance left and of course doing it more but it isn't as much time as the initial setup
Congrats mate! I had a few days above $2 and was very happy, but now i'm back to under $1 earnings but...I won't give up that easy!
I'm hoping to reach this "Level" of daily earnings, and digital point forums got a great user base, and alot of free<i like that word> information. I'm new to this forum, new to adsense (more or less) On other places i would have been massivly flamed, not here. I will remember that the day i have somthing good to say to a person in the same position i'm in today.
Nice post you got going here "AboutItWorld." After staying up all night and working on my site for the last 20 hours, (trading links, directory submission, submitting articles, adding content, reading for hours and doing stuff I never thought possible with style sheets (with the help of my friend), I was getting worn out and wondering why I spend so much time, for a buck a day. But then I remember that its passive income and I had my highest earnings day of about $3 two days ago. Thanks for getting me motivated again everyone! P.S.-Parts of the navigation for certain sections arn't lining up correctly for internet explorer, I'm working on that now.
This line motivate me when i am down and out: "Making money with adsense is directly proportional to the sum of hard work and experiments"
And forget that even when you reach that point you need to continue to work on your ads. I had to take a few months off taking care of my adsense but kept the websites updated. Traffic was steady but adsense earnings were slowly decreasing. Changing ad placements and colours seems to be required to keep income going...
