TextLinkAds - what can I expect from a PR5 site but with little traffic?

I guess the subject says it all!

I've got a site which is PR5 and is about 4-5 months old. However, I've left it alone for a while, but I now want to make it better again and get some solid traffic on it.

Is it worth signing up to TextLinkAds or wait until I have more traffic?

I've used the calculator before...but I'm also interested to hear real-world experiences. I mean, is the calculator that accurate? Presumably TLA are going to make it look pretty good! Do links sell well?

mostly it depends on your niche and not on your traffic.

For example i had submitted one PR 4 financial blog with 500 uniques per month and i got 8/10 in the first month. On the other hand, my PR 6 celebrity blog with over 50000 uniques per month didn't get any sale.

 

Ok, well once I have a bit more traffic I think I'll give it a go. I do have a good niche, so hopefully it can be well utilised!

They said my PR4 site would make 10/mo per link, but i get 12.50 so... hope that helps

Well, I'm going to sign up today so I'll see whether I get accepted. I'm hoping too, given that my site is PR5. But they might question the traffic...

 

One of my sites is making 8.5$/mo from 2 advertisers. PAINFUL PR5

 

I don't think they will question the traffic. They will take the traffic into consideration when working out what the payments should be for your advertising spots.
