Hey All! I have started a company similar to Google Adsense, but using a slightly different concept and keeping a lower commission. My company, TextAdMarket, targets a niche advertising market we call (CPD) "Cost Per Day". Basically, as an advertiser you pay a flat rate of $x.xx per day to advertise on the websites you want. You choose how many days you want to advertise for, and are locked in at the rate you bought at, even if the price rises later. As a publisher, you set the initial CPD price, but after that, the price is controlled by the market. Meaning, if your ad space is selling, the price goes up. And, if your ad space is NOT selling, the price goes down. Kinda like the stock market. Furthermore, while publishers are waiting for an advertiser to come along and buy their ad space, PPC ads will be shown so your ads are not blank! Advertiser Benefits -Prices dictated by supply & demand -Choice of PPC or CPD advertising (PPC guaranteed results, CPD is more risky, but could lead to higher returns if you know how to pick good sites) Publisher Benefits -Higher Earnings through CPD -PPC revenue when ad space is unsold -TextAdMarket charges low commission I started this company back in April, so we are established, but still small. If you run a reputable website, I invite you to give TextAdMarket a try. And, if you are looking to advertise your site or business, check out our marketplace CPD listings or consider a PPC campaign with us! I'd be happy to answer any questions! Regards, Benjamin Schrum Text Ad Market, LLC http://www.TextAdMarket.com
I'm trying to register, but I get "invalid security code" every time. I've tried 10 times now EDIT: Turns out it doesn't work in Safari. I tried it in Firefox and it worked. Weird!
Thanks guys! Let me know if you have any questions about the site, I'm almost always on DP. Ya, I'll have to download a copy of Safari sometime. I haven't done testing on that or Opera yet. Probably something related to javascript. Javascript never plays nicely on all browsers.
What are the chances that someone will buy space on my site? I removed my adsense script just to test this out so I'll be kind of disappointed if no on purchase it. I get about 700 unique visits a day.
It really depends on what your site is. If the advertisers don't like your site (or the price you listed it for), then you might not have any luck. You run FlashIndustries right? I think you'll get some sales, just looking at your PR and Alexa ranking. Also, keep in mind that TextAdMarket records statistics about your banner's performance. These stats are shown to advertisers before they buy. Advertisers won't buy the first few days you list your space for sale, because you won't have any stats logged yet. A full week of statistics will probably score your site at the top of our marketplace listings (ad space for sale is listed in order of best sites first, worst sites last). You've got a nice looking site here. Hah, I think I visited your site about a month ago when I was looking for a flash tutorial.
Ah, okay, I understand now. Thanks Also, thanks for the compliment. I hope your site does well, I really like the idea.
A lot of same kind service providers are there.... we can trust GOOGLE 100% .. but how can we trust you and others?????
Only time will tell I suppose. I've been building my publisher base pretty rapidly, and so far everyone seems to like the concept a lot. I hope you'll take a chance and trust TextAdMarket. There are quite a number of DP'ers who have already signed up for TextAdMarket and can vouch for me. This is a company based in the United States, I'm very quick to respond to emails, I put in many hours a day to expand the site, I've been working on this project non-stop since May 2007, and am always glad to code site improvements or extensions if you feel TextAdMarket needs something extra. I'm really determined to carve out the CPD niche in the whole text ad industry. Google can't have the whole pie without a fight.
I have submit to your network, I am curious to see the feedback. I am just curious to see in many time someone will buy the spot I put for sale on my site
From what I know you cannot display on the pages with AdSense codes other advertise networks, maybe by rotation.
No, TextAdMarket's banner style and advertising concept is different enough from Adsense where they won't ban you. Not to mention, if google ban's you for that reason, they are in violation of US Antitrust laws. Excluding other companies from entering the market or seriously impairing their ability to compete is the definition of an illegal monopoly.
If you are looking to become an advertiser, send me a PM first. I have a coupon code I am giving out, that will give you an additional 10% ad credit on your purchase.
The site looks good and professional. I just may try this service one day. Anyways, good luck with your company.
A prospective client might like to see two things up front, before joining. 1. A list of ad formats available 2. A list of some of your top advertisers I think that many will not join, because you don't answer these two questions. Which implies that you don't offer all the standard formats, and you don't have many very good advertisers. Join to find out? Nah. I've danced enough in the past
You must have missed the links, because both of those are offered up front. List of available publishers with unsold adspots: http://www.textadmarket.com/buy.php List of available ad formats: http://www.textadmarket.com/samples.php No need to register to see either page. And, if there is a standard format you need, and I don't yet have it, let me know and I'll add it.
How is the code handled? Is it redirects so that PR is not passed? Or... ? I'm curious to know that, then I will sign up.
