I was wondering does it matter how much text is on a page? the more the better maybe? Also if one page had 100 words and a keyword for example "money" (which i was optimizing for) has a 5% ratio through out the page! And another site has 10,000 words and the same keyword "money" has a ratio of 5% through out this page! Would there be a difference in serps for this keyword?
The more the content is, the better it is. But I suggest you do not worry about keyword density; it do not matters a lot. Instead concentrate on backlinks and other factors.
Keyword density has lost it's importance in the google search engine, precisely because is it easy to manipulate. That doesn't mean to say that it has no importance, but i agree backlink building is much more powerful. If you look at many search results it is often PDF files that rank quite highly. This may be for a range of facotrs, but my theory is also because they contain a lot of content basically under one file extension. So my opinion is that the more content the more likely your page will get noticed. It works for me
