Text with space as link

    I am having problems assigning a piece text that has been retrieved from a db as a hyperlink. Only the first part of the text is set as argument. For example,if a person's name is John Smith the link I get is:
    Members.php?ID=John
    Code (markup):
    Is there any way I can set all the text retrieved?
