Text superimposed and obscuring portrait video tweets

Recently something has changed in how Twitter displays portrait video tweets (as opposed to landscape) on my phone: the video spans my entire screen and the text of the post is superimposed on the video, obscuring the lower portion of the video.

Is there a way to change this when viewing a post, and most especially when making your own post of a portrait video, to prevent that happening for the viewer?

    Thanks,
    Gary

I figured it out: you just have to tap on your phone and all the text disappears, showing the entire video. It's a toggle: tap again, and the text reappears.
