Hi all, My sites have finally been attacked by google's and MSN's bot, yet what I was wondering would changing the text on the home page help my site with search engines. i.e. text 1 for 1 week 2 or 3 paragraphs of text on what the site is about. text 2 for week 2 2 or 3 paragraphs of what the site is about, but very much changed from above text. The main reason for asking this is that my content doesn't really cahnge that much and I don't want google etc thinking the site is stale. Thanks. Ian
I do a similar thing on a monthly basis and google keeps returning. I don't know that I need to though! I have internal pages which change and Google seems to deep crawl all the time rather than just check the home page for freshness.
