Which does everyone feel is better for SEO? I have read text hyperlinks are more efficient and easier to crawl, and then I've read it doesn't matter....
I think Text links are better from the SEO point of view although image links are fine as long as you put in the ALT text.
Text links are much better than image links. The search engines trust the ALT tags far less because they are easier to spam (no as visible in the browser as the text in a link). The ALT tag is still useful though so you should use it when you have an image link.
