The great thing about text message marketing is that you can reach people when they are most likely to buy. For instance, Subway sends me its text messages at 11:30 am when I am starting to get hungry for lunch. Brilliant.
I think everything works out faster for companies that uses this marketing technique. The message goes directly to the cell phone of the potential customer and certainly not like the traditional advertising.I can firmly say that this marketing is very much targeted. The most important thing is that the outcome is positive especially for Night Club and Food related companies..
Its great to see the potential in this, but also realize some may feel like its spam directly, if the text has been sent without them knowing how you got their number.
Like me, sometimes I will receive some clothes stores' promote text message, sure it's a useful marketing and popular. But you need to know clients' info before doing that. Uoften can send him/her emails. I think SMS will be more powerful than it.
Hi all, The great thing about text message marketing is the open rate convertions... its close to 100%... Dont get me wrong I always preach to build a list and email marketing will alwasys be an awesome way to make money online... but the open rates are sometimes low... I know if i get a text message I open it nearly 100 % of the time... The open rates with text message marketing are fantastic... but I agree, if you are getting messages all the time, it could become annoying... Louis D
hi, text message marketing surely helps in building the business but sometimes not good also but the conversation rate is very little i think.
Just understand, you need to nurture your list or those leads are dead. This can be something like as a helpful tip, or reminder of "healthy eating"
Even with these great open rates and obvious potential for revenue growth, I'm always surprised at how resistant restaurant, cafe and bar owners are to this marketing gem. I agree with above, though, you really need to be careful as some people could wonder how you got their number and complain. My advice would be to build an email and SMS list and send messages to both. In the email you can keep them reminded of how they got on your list.
