There are certainly good deals that come up from time to time. I've sold a lot of text links myself on eBay.

Check the seller's feedback, see if the url is listed in the auction description & verify the pagerank.

Very small cahnce in my experience (like .0001%) as they generally don't refund non material transactions

It is the sale of a text link on a different site being auction on eBay....Not a link on eBay

Yea most stuff on ebay is for beginners that don't really know anything and they are easy to scam. So it really isn't worth it. But i'm sure a legit website comes up every once and a while and has good links for sale.

If you regularly have items for sale on eBay, it is worth having links from your "About Me" page to your site, also if you have some resource on your site, such as a grading chart, size chart, or so on, you can link to your site from the auction itself.

Good for traffic #'s, not sure about the PR factors.

You can find real good deals there, but be very careful. One guy was selling PR6 link for $15 or something. I smelled something and checked his site. It got PR6, but I found out it was already banned from Google.

I bet those who bought the links now regret it. I would rather want to buy links from DP members.

You always at least get what you pay for (and most times less) so if it costs $25, you are getting $25 worth of benefit.

Either it is on pages made only for links or you are link #654 on a page. Both are pretty much useless.

you can, but be careful, the amount of scammers is higher on ebay than for instance here in the forums (with a good itrader seller for sure)
