I don't know if this is the right section to post this topic but I'll try anyway I would like to read your experiences of what kinds of ads to have on your website, text link ads (like google adsense and other text link ad services) or image ads? Please share your experiences here with me and the other users. I'm interested in improving my ads

Google Adsense so far has been the best for my websites... People trust the Google name... I tried other text link ad services and didn't do so well... In terms of image ads I haven't tried that yet, but will look into...
I personally think a well designed banner ad is more efficient then a text link. The only pro from a text link is that it is 98% of the time cheaper.
i prefer text links, because on one ads area contain 4 or 5 text links so it has better click opportunity instead of one 300x250 area contain one image ad
text based ads get me more clicks then image or banner..... so always go for text base ads.... and i will tell you one secret... put your ads on place where visitors can see it clearly... normally you should place your ads near html links... so that when visitors goto next page, they see the ads... and also place more ads in popular page.... and you will see you will get more clicks by following these simple rules...
