Text Link Ads Inlinks

I assume that many of you bloggers out there have been invited to Text Link Ads inline ads program? I just got invited when I added a new wordpress blog, and I sounds tempting. The only problem I see is that i cannot participate in many other programs, like PayPerPost, ReviewMe and TLA's own affiliateprogram (which currently is my biggest moneymaker in TLA).

Anyone accepted these terms? Did you improve your income?

I joined the program in the beginning because I initially didn't know what I was getting into. I since switched because like you, I felt the terms limited me too much from being able to explore other potential income streams. I since switched over.

However, if you're interested in doing something similar, I would suggest trying out WP Text Ads http://www.wptextads.com/ There's a free version available that you can try out, and to make sure you don't get in trouble with Google, the inline links you sell are automatically assigned nofollow tags. This may make them less valuable for advertisers, but on the upside you keep 100 percent of the profits.

Update: Ok apparently WP Text Ads doesn't provide inlink ads within posts, but OIOPublisher (http://www.oiopublisher.com/) has that capability.

I found it strange that my blog got accepted into the TLA program with it's PR1 and nearly nill traffic, while my main site was rejected with daily hits and a PR3 *shrug* I was also nearly shocked that my forum was rejected with a PR3 and at the time a 118k Alexa rank *boggle*

It's no wonder that I've not had any link buyers on my blog to date. I think I may drop the program and try to sell links on my own.

 

They didn't accept me in program. So I made some money from their affiliate program.
