They pay via flat rate per month..
    Not per click..

Its tough to get a TLA ad unless your site is too quality..

I use TLA on one of my PR6 sites. I have all 10 links spots signed up and they pay reguarly on a monthly basis.

The only thing they could improve on is if they produced code that could be inserted into an html file as opposed to a PHP file.

Also you must make sure that your website has good link popularity/PR before you apply. ;)

    To increase link popularity :

you can write some nice information on your site/ provide some useful tools - will give you natural linkbacks..

    - directory submissions
    - buying paid links on sites etc.

PR4 is a must and u get automatic inclusion. But really even if u get included this doesn't mean u will start earning. Someone has to buy links too. So that is why a good site with good PR and alexa rank is needed.

TLA is great! I'd wait until your sites are established though, before applying.

At least a PR3-PR4 or so, and a somewhat ok alexa ranking. (top 500k)

you get more bang for your buck in the amount of clicks/dollar, but there less targeted than PPC.

If you're interested in TLA you might find my review useful. Like I said, no BS, it is my review but I do try and give both sides of the story.

I quite like TLA because you get paid just for displaying links, regardless of whether they're actually clicked or not. Unlike other services it's no sale, no ad so you're never giving away free advertising space. Another important point is that TLA links are either delivered via feed or JavaScript - they aren't conventional HTML links so can't bleed you PR value.

My advice, don't use TLA. Sell the links yourself using Paypal subscriptions.
It might require you more work but you should be able to sell the links faster than TLA would, and you'll earn about x2 more per link.

Exoclick - do you mean to say find your own advertiser and use paypal to receive the money instead of using text link ad services?

Also, did you have any problems with text link ad services?

I'm going to gather all pros and cons before signing up though.

fluid, yes that's what I mean. For static links (text links ads) I would sell it myself.

No specific problem with TLA, just that I had a site with them a very long time ago, never sold any links, then I stopped and tried myself. Sold 12.
