Text & Image ads

Is there any difference in what we are paid per click between image and text ads.

 

no, but you can get income from page impressions from image ads.

 

Agreed with hill2001, but I find that I get a higher CTR with text. And overall I find that the best option. But it's all about ad placement!

 

I see I really need to improve my overall CTR but I think its best I concentrate on traffic Before $$

 

I think in general image ads command a higher cpc but as stated text ads generally have a better ctr so it's a sort of 'balancing act' if you like...

 

i think there are differences. but not too much i think. Because i get almost same type of income from image ads and text ads.

I recommend using both depending upon the design. But in answer to your question I think image ads do but I don't have proof.

 

Ive got Both running to be honest I havnt any proof either as I dont think ive had any clicks from that channel ( only been on a week) but I will update you guys via this thread.

 

In Image ad you will get single ad where as in text ad the ads will be more. Visitor can have chance to select his choice.

 

both types of ads have their own benefits. It is the matter of selection and choice. Why not try different ads on different pages and places.

 

Google advises both but it all depends on the type of site you have.
