Pardon my ignorance, but is there a tool that can take a long single txt or html file and separate it out into smaller, more manageable components? Thanks.
Yeah, either one I guess. If it could separate html out completely that'd be great. Appreciate any leads.
Well you have to decide what you want to do before I can help you. This is very general yet. Is it server-side? If so, what web technology do you have? What's the purpose? How long are the files? Do they have distinguishing characteristics?
I just want something on my home computer that I can use to separate long txt and html documents and so that multiple webpages can be made from each... say, taking a novel and separating it out into units of 3-4 paragraphs each. The result can be html but it doesn't matter, as I would be tweaking the results anyway. Thanks.
