Text change on main page for Google?

Hi everyone. I'm a pretty new ebusiness owner.

I read recently that to get bumped up on search engines, you should try to include keywords on your main page of what you sell. So I did; I wrote some of our products and keywords in the first two paragraphs of our main page. But when I do a Google search for us, the text below our title still shows the old text before it was changed.

We have a webmaster; should I get in touch with her about this? Or does it take a while for the "spiders" to pick up the new text?

You can check out our site by Googling "Great Storm Galleries." to check it out yourselves.

I suggest you read Brad Callen's keyword ebook for more information about how to rank in the SE. It's more of an art form than a science.
