Text Based Web Browser?

    Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but maybe someone will find it and provide an answer.. ;)

    Does anyone know of a text based web browser that is free and works with windows xp? I have tried a version of Lynx and didn't like it too well.. although it might have just been the particular version I tried. I remember using one a year or few ago that worked great but I have no idea what that was.
