Text and links over Images ?

Text & Links over a tabled image ?

Hi all, sort of new to the desiging web pages ect.. im currently designig a theme for an online script i currently have.. but one of the problems im having is trying to place links and text over and image.

Currently using DW8 and i can set a background image. When i come to a table layout for different sections im trying to add an image in a section of the table and im wanting to put links and text over the image located in my table.

Is there a simply way for this to be done ?

Why! putting the image as the background of the table cell and content in the cell is the simplest method to show text and links above images.

try using DIV or Layer over your image..
