text ads only vs. text and image ads

I'm wondering what brings more money at the end of the day.
On one hand, having 3 text ads in the same block gives 3 times the opportunity for a click.
On the other hand, one click on an image ad should pay more, but it's one ad instead of 3 in the same space.
    What's your experience about it?

    It depend on your niche.
If you run an entertainment site, image ads will perform better but if you are in the niche keyword style website, only text ad will perform well..

I have tried both of them and found out that text ads perform much better for me.

Text brings more options for the web user, but the graphic ads can bring pay per impression. Both good really.:)

I prefer text ads. People loves to click on words that give more meaning for what they are looking for.

I personally use text and image ads because it yields better results for me. More advertisers = more money for me.

It will depend on your website design and your niche.
You can actually try use text ads only for 2 weeks and another put image ads for another 2 week to compre the result

Many topics don't have any relevant image ads, mine included, so I am text only.

It depends on the position where you place your ads. Sometimes text ads serve the best. Placing text ads in an article works well rather than placing a banner ad instead of text ads.
