this is very very old research actually. it has been long established that people no longer tend to click on banners and other interactive ads and click on text ads more as they take them as part of the site content.
Between ad blocks and text units, mine both do equally as well, both fetching pretty much exactly 50% of the clicks each, so, for me, it doesn't really matter, and I'll be keeping both
Yup. Definitely that's true. Not sure what's the reason why I feel words explains better than just using pictures
