Hi, Im looking at new ways to market my site and push the serps and was thinking about buying in a few high pr links. I found a comapny called text link ads and was wondering if anyone has used them before? Is there any danger in using them? Dont want to lose any septs that i have at the moment so does anyone no if any search engines see TLA sites as spam? I cant see how they would know its a TLA site ...
There is no danger is using Text Link Ads. They are very well known and respected with most webmasters. I have used them personally and I've never had a problem with them
Cool ... thanks for the quick reply ... I thought that i read a post in these forums once saying that sites using TLA sponsored links were being penalised/dropped by Google? I have tried looking for the thread but i can't find it ... Or am i getting TLA mixed up with the Co-op advertising thing ???
We have some clients using Text-Link-Ads and the result is very good! Although, please be reminded that your sites success will still depend on your niche.
TLA is awesome...I use it from both ends (I buy links from other sites, and sell for my own). Definitely a SERPs boosters...but you need to keep the links on the sites for a few months for it to have a noticeable effect.
the prices that TLA advertise at ... can you get them to drop? for example a link for $50 can you offer $40 ??? Or is it what you see is what you pay?
They're good but they aren't the most economical choice for advertisers - probably worthwhile approaching webmaster directly and negotiating a price. From a publisher's point of view they're good, but you don't get too many offers (well, I dont).
They are good for me and I sold many links with them ... couple of sites I sold 5 and 4 links and they pay good. Their affiliate is also good for me .... They pay every month ....
They seem to be professional enough. I think you should ask to buy some quality links from other DP members, its usually a bit cheaper and theres loads of good quality sites available in most niches.
One word of caution: Don't buy links too quickly, keeps your links for a long time (6 months +) and build up other links at the same time
what sort of monthly budget would you say is good for text link ads? Also, how do you pick the anchor text...wordtracker?
text link ads is one of the best services out there.. especially if you have a blog with good traffic. they offer a good price.
