Texas Sales Tax Include Domains?

Just wondering if Domain Fee's fall in line with the Texas exemptions from sales tax? For example, if the domain fee is under $25 and they do not have any other fee's, such as Internet. Do they still have to pay tax?

    Anyways, thanks for any help!

It's by understanding that domain fees do not get the exemption, only internet access gets exception (dialup, DSL, etc.) But you will want to check with an accountant or someone who specializes in taxes in your specific area.

Suggest you do a Google searh for Texas Sales Tax and call the toll free number listed. I do not know about domain names but a Texas web designer doing work for a Texas company is required to charge sales tax.

    Use the link below.

No tax on Internet service under $25.00.
So, monthly Internet of $24.99 with a "free" doman is not taxed.
    There's also a 50% rule (don't remember details).
Look at the "data processing", "Internet Services" and "information services" links.
