My apologies.. Anyway, the judge in this case (the courts more importantly) where following the law. We have quite an amazing justice system that seeks to insure that all are innocent until proven guilty. It also seeks to insure that our rights are not violated. Sometimes as a result things do not always make sense, in terms of the decisions handed down.

The pedo remark was my attempt at sarcasm in a situation that while I agree, the courts are correct in their decision, I know the reality is that many of these children will be going back to a sexually abusive situation.

In any event, while the court did rule in favor of sending the kids back to the pedo farm, they imposed several restrictions on their return. That said, it was like the court was saying, hey, they have to go back, there was no legal right to remove them, but we realize there is some bad shit going down, so we are going to do all we can to try to insure that those kids are returned and monitored in the hopes that no more 13 year olds are raped by old men in the name of the lord.

 

Surprised to see that none of the usual suspects who were so vociferous, lecturing me on the law have spoken up.

I'm happy they will address the five girls involved in what is/could be sexual abuse, and happy they have released 430 innocent children back to their families.

Mass arrests are tyranny, and you don't have to wait for it to happen to you, your religious/ethnic group, before you take a stand against it.

I can speak for myself, that I am not interested in winning points on DP, on points of law, though it is a world I have worked in and know well. For myself, and, to be presumptive, for many others on this thread, the concern was a legitimate desire to see innocent kids protected from imminent harm; nothing more.
