So, i just read that Texas is now the 4'th states in the US that will allow college student to wear guns on the college campus. they say it's to prevent massmurdering, but i cant accept that reason.... one day these guy's will have a fight, and this time it's not with their fists. what do you think?
I think these people who get the guns must be mature enugh for having this in their hands. Of course it is not a joke, I totally disagree.
You know they say " Bombing the city for peace is like having sex for virginity"... Prevent mass murdering?? by allowing guns in college?..... SO whats next???
Whether its a gun, baseball bar, crowbar, knife, club, or anything else, if person A wants to kill person B there is not much you can do about it. Expect give person B a weapon and let them defend theirselves. It is not the responsibility of the police to protect you. The police have no duty to protect you, they are not required to protect you. This has been proven over and over again when people tried to sue the police for not protecting them. Around here (in Texas) it normal to see someone with a gun in their vehicle. Especially during hunting season. I have drove through McDonalds with my deer rifle in the seat next to me. The person at the drive through just looked at my rifle, took my money, gave me my food and I went on my way. In Houston Texas there are guns shows where their might be 10,000 people in one place, and most of them have guns. Not a single person was shot. Guns do not make people criminals, and guns do not kill people. Firearms are a tool. And just like anything else they can be used for evil purposes. Cancer caused by tobacco kills more people then guns every year. But you can buy tobacco without a permit and without a background check. And about those college kids with guns - its more likely that their cigarettes will kill them before the guns do. But lets think about this - taking years to die from cancer, or dieing in a few minutes from a gun shot,,,, hum. Man, that is a really tough choice. Radiation and Chemotherapy, hair falling out, finger nails, toe nails and teeth falling out. Spending tens of thousands of dollars to extend your life. Or getting shot, going to the doctor and getting the bullet removed. Taking years to die, or dieing in a couple of minutes. Putting your family through the stress of watching you die a slow painful death over a couple of years. Or dieing in a few minutes? That is a really tough choice. I really dont see a problem with people having guns. Texas has been a concealed carry state for years. The last time I heard there had been just a couple of shootings from people that had concealed carry permits, and one of them was from a cop that shot his wife. So lets take the guns away from the cops, because one cop went crazy, they all might go that way.
thats so stupid.. i dont care what kind of weapon it is, anything like a knife shouldnt even be allowed. thats crazy.
A college in Utah I believe has allowed guns on campus for the past couple years. They have never had an issue while more than 200 people carry them on campus every day.
but why? is it safety for them? when walking to school or something?.. i remember bringing a toy gun to elementary school and i got expelled.
