I noticed that there is a lot of Texans around these forums and I was just wanting who my fellow Texans are and from what part... Im from Dallas myself anybody else from here? BTW We dont all say Howdy and ride horses to work ... I ride a donkey
Speak for yourself. Howdy is part of my vocab. I split my time between Midland and Jacksonville. Both towns quite rurral in character. Until I moved to Midland I though myself to be quite conservative. Out there I find myself in the liberal camp. When my little cousin came to visit from Seattle he was quite disappointed to learrn we all did not wear boots, ten gallon hats, and commute using the buckboard or on horseback. Shannon
As for me-- Howdy form Lake Worth,Texas-DFW area. I was born in Quanah,Texas and family moved to Fort Worth later on down the road. So, i'm a Texan all the way, right? Wouldn't dream of living anywhere else unless someone makes me an offer i cannot refuse-- View attachment 2179
Plano, Texas. Born in Minnesota. Lived in Texas for the past decade. That is, when I'm not in South Korea or China on business. No, I'm not asian. Though my future son will be half!
Hey man I m from Plano too I live there What part are you from east, west, or central...Im in PSHS area
Haha I would of gone to Plano Senior if I didn't graduate two years early! Kind of North Central. Small world, huh? Hey we were born same year. 1988. Maybe we know each other.
Haha no. Hmm.... let's see where do I begin.... Well two years ago I got into the marketing business after graduating. Started my own marketing company a year later. I flew to meet a korean penpal, it worked out , and I decided to start a software company in Korea. I'm headed there next month as a matter of fact. Then my best friend here in Plano is running a multi-million dollar audio business with his dad. I'm going to be head of operations for his factories in China. Good stuff. Just turned 18, January 3rd. Oh, and I'm whiter than the snow we never get here. I can speak basic Korean and pretty good Japanese. Working on Chinese for being C.O.O of my friends audio corporation. To think I'd still be worrying about who I'd be taking to the Prom if I didn't graduate two years early.
Cool stuff, Man I guess Im about half a year younger then you Ill try to catch up I never did much extra stuff in school to get out early, Im just the guy who sits in the back of the AP class', daydreaming, drawing half baked monkeys , website plans, and etc. Maybe will run into each other someday...
My avatar is Houston but I'm from around 45 miles south of Austin. I can look out my front porch and watch the cars go by on Interstate 10. How about them LongHorns!
Ok, cause i just got two e-mails some stock tips telling me to buy EGLY and it talked about China Anyways who cares
Dude thats pretty crazy, you must be brillant. I whent to Korea to years ago to visit my dad when he was over there, but to see a penpal and start a software company when you should of been worrying about how to get your drivers license. Props
