    Hello all.
I guess this is mostly directed to experienced bloggers who
    have set up many blogs.

When you want to try out a new idea you have for a blog,
how do you go about setting it up as fast as possible,
and to get some visitors as fast as possible?

I'm not asking about how to create traffic in general, but if you have
any sort of "procedure" to set up your blog and test if your
idea is something that could be popular.

If you are unsure about an idea, you can set it up on a free blog host to test it out. Although if it turns out to be a success you'd want to move it to its own domain asap.

A better idea would be to put it on a subdomain of an existing domain, that way if you move it then you could do a 301 redirect.
