Do you think it's necessary to test websites in both firefox 3 and 2? Is there any difference between the two in terms of rendering?

    Thanks

I haven't noticed any difference myself. I think you should be OK between the two.

There is a difference, my site looks ok in FF2 and IE but in FF3 a mysterious thin line came out. My designers can't figure out what happen. I think you better test for both FF2 and FF3 just in case.

I haven't ran into that problem yet but apparently they occur. Hopefully you can get that fixed. If you can't let me know, I'm pretty good with coding and design myself.

I found firefox 3 to be unstable too, one of most annoying thing is high CPU usage problem and sometimes it doesn't close itself, I have to use task manager to kill it manually.... anyone having the same problem?

Nope, I haven't. I haven't experience any problems with FF3 so I'm surprised to hear many people complaining about it.

Same here in my opinion. I like FF2 better visually but FF3 has been dynamite for me thus far.
