Hey everybody, I'm doing Internet marketing for a long while, I tried clickbank before - but with no success and now i'm back on the horse... i guess i didn't believe in it enough and now i'm starting to feel it can actually be profitable. Just started promoting a product on clickbank using AdWords. I know how to built good campaigns and get very targeted traffic. This is my question: Let's say you get a very specific and targeted traffic from AdWords (or other PPC), How many click are enough to determine if the product is good? I read somewhere before that a 100 clicks are enough to decide if a should continue with the products or drop it - Does it sound reasonable? Thanks...
I think 100 hits is enough if you use a site with a good conversion layout! Many webmasters will make about 2-3 sales with only 100 hits if you know what you do. I can only wish you good luck.
Me and around 30 of my affiliates are doing Adwords at around 2-3.5 sales for 100 clicks. Getting a good campaign is the first part. The 2nd is finding the right product. I'd really suggest products that have no alternatives or clones. Try YOURID.mynameisdi.clickbank.net - it has no alternatives on clickbank at all. Also YOURID.kewlsoft.clickbank.net has no competition and is very niche-oriented. Remember to replace YOURID with your clickbank id
it all depends on how much the affiliate payout is. if you payout was $5 your not going to send 100 visitors to try and get it. if yyou payout is $80 you can send a lot more
Hi, You can set a target on your return on advertising cost. Don't stick to 1 sale in 100 clicks kind of rule. It all depends on how much you are paying for your traffic and the commissions you are getting. Say product A, If you are paying 20 cents per click and converting at 100 clicks per sale, and you are getting $40 commissions, then your return is 100% profits. For product B, If you are paying 90 cents per click and converting at 50 clicks per sale, and you are getting $40 commissions, then you are losing money! For me, I always look at the returns vs the advertising cost. It brings things to perspective. If you want to pick up my secret formula to finding profitable Clickbank products from the start, you can read about it in my free report.
it's not about the number of clicks it's about EPC (earnings per click). If the product will bring you in $50 in commission and you've dropped $10 on promoting it with no sales... you haven't spent enough. Obviously all clicks are not equal either, you can spend $0.50 per click or you can spend $0.02 per click. The quality will be different... I usually spend twice the commission and if I get no sales I drop it.
