Guys, I know this has been said before but you must test. I had a friend who is an ok internet marketer. I say OK because he makes money online but not a substantial wage. But in fairness he has just got into it. Anyways, He released his first product about getting abs and losing stomach fat. He is a personal trainer by trade and is in excellent shape so naturally it's best to do something he knows about and has a great interest in. Back to the point: He made up his product with lots of videos and info etc, did the site logos and designs etc and wrote his own sales page. It was ok. But I could see certain 'touch ups' that needed to be made. Anyways, he had already launched his product for about a month prior to me having a look for him. I tols him to make a couple of changes on the sales page. He listened but never did anything about it. So a couple weeks rolled past and sales still weren't that good. So, I said you really have to test. Start with testing the sales page and tweak it. He agreed (finally) I gave him some tips but the most notable were the P.S's at the bottom of his page. He put a couple in and sales increased by 25% over the next week. The lesson is, this could be money you're missing out on. Really test and find the best combinations and what works the best to maximise your earnings. Young Moulah
test my patience... lol only joking i agree... but testing on a live site (as opposed to ppc) can be a bit risky...
Testing can be fun and risky, though just make sure that you understand the risks associated with testing before you actually get into the foray?
Sure it's nice to mix and match, but in this case i'd suggest you be highly careful, you don't want to lose out on something good that might be working.
There is no such thing as a marketing puzzle, WE only tend to think of it as a puzzle because don't realize that the guy behind has already had the answers
He should have listened to you earlier. The thing is some people think they are right, others are wrong, when they should consider the options given to them. Yes, testing is important and tweaking is even more important. We never know which way is better until we have tested out different methods / ways.
