Just to inform I upgraded the script for a better testing of your MTA (Message Transfer Agent). Hope you're still enjoying this very oooooold script (Roughly, about 10 years old

    This is indeed useful!

One thing that I found annoying is that it stops completely after a test fails.
Is it safe to assume that if say test 20 fails then the rest of them will fail as well because they are based on each other?

If not then I'd say it's useful to see all the tests that fail.

Is the site still available? I'm trying to access www. pagasa.net/test-smtp-server and I just get "page can not be displayed". Is there a new site with the script?

EDIT: No matter, site seems to be working again now!

I think you need limited the number of tests from one IP(and to one SMTP-server). May show test-results from the cache. Otherwise your service quickly banned.

    Relaying test.
    Attempting to connect to gmail.com....

    Error: host is unreachable

Below is my results for your SMTP test.
I see many questions of "my SMTP server shows relay open, is this bad?" Yes it is exactly what this is about.
I have been administrating email servers since 1969-1970..
I know most of you think there was no Internet during those dates.
Read the book. "The Cookoo's Egg."
It's a great read on the old Internet. It's might even teach you something about security.
Mostly it is good history and great fun.
    Short story, I was there!

Here's my smtp test results from this site.
Any less and I would imediatly remove the ethernet cable from it.
    Again, many thanks.
    THE RESULTS:
