Test my Knowledge of Blogging and ask me anything!

I wanted to contribute something to this community and build a reputation. Since my major expertise is in blogging I wanted to allow you to ask me anything you wish.

My Background:

I started blogging on July 15th, 2004 right after I graduated from high school. I soon began to really enjoy writing but my problem was I felt no one was reading what I wrote.

Finally a miracle happen, I received two comments over night at my blogger blog, and instantly got hooked. I started to write multiple blogs, some on entrepreneurship, some on blogging, some on anything.

I created a network of 20 something blogs and started to make a nice coin when I worked hard at them.

However, eventually school caught up to me and forced me to stop blogging and finish up the last year and a half of school.

Now, I'm a graduate, and I'm getting back to what I love the best, the Internet.

So, let me help you out

I will start this off, can you add PLR content to blogs that have AdSense on, withoutbreaking their TOS etc?

Also can you automate blogger blogs?

 

If you want to do a blog contest what parameters will you use to rank blogs?

I'm actually not familiar with PLR content, I always wrote original content for all my blogs. So I can't answer that one, but for the automation of your blogger blogs this is how I learned it:


Go to your Blogger dashboard and click on settings, In the settings find,email. Under Email, you should see a section called "Mail to blogger address". Make a separate email address for your blog. Then, all emails received at this address are automatically turned into blogger blog posts. Now, download a simple autoresponder script, In the autoresponder script, add your the Mail to Blogger email address as a subscriber. Finally, add all the content that you want to your blog and set up the interval at which you want them to show up.

If you wanted to rank blogs? Well, it depends, the one time I had a blog contest, I was doing a contest on the design and user-friendliness of the blog, because the blog was a web design blog.

Keep the parameters within what your blog is about, this way your readers find it interesting.

For example, if I had a blog on Karate, I wouldn't set my parameters to tech blogs, because my readers wouldn't care.

Would I need the autoposting thing, would I be able to send myself a email off another email account. Would that work?

Yes that should work to, I use to separate my blogs with different email accounts, but that should work just fine.

What do you think is the best way of getting readers to subscribe to your RSS feed? I would like somethinhg visible at the top of my blog preferably, just a simple box with space where a reader may enter their email address. can you reccomend a (preferably free) service?

Hi

I want to have more than 10 pages in the blog. I want to put as categories links at sidebar in html format. How do I do that?
eg.
I have taken one of the blog of a member here in DP and I can't post link in here.
I want to have my post in sidebar as in html format.


And I want to change the format of the posts in the archives. As it shows in Date Format, I want it to show the post as name of my choice. eg. I want to have my post as " Musical Instruments rather than January 6th 2008.
