I have started this thread so it will be easier to track the test DC that Matt Cutts has mentioned in his blog for future refference that way we can keep the posts seperate. For any one who does not know what this is the test DC 64.233.179.99 Matt has called out that he may be asking for feedback on sometime this week. For those of us who have followed it there have been some fairly major shifts today. Presently the dc is back to what appears to be Jagger 3 results to my knowledge. it will be interesting to see what develops.
To update what I am seeing and I am curious on what others are seeing..I am seeing Jagger 3 results currently. This is totally different then yesterday at this time where this DC was showing totally different results.
2 words: Who cares? These never ending threads about people doing nothing else but sitting on their fat ass watching datacenters is just ridiculous. Who don't you work on your sites instead? Is staring at the datacenters going to help your site get new backlinks, or climb up the serps? There are already 10 threads about Jagger... and now we have yet another one here... geez...
Well Many people care Fryman and if you don't care about the Data centers and what is going on then don't bother looking at threads such as this. As other people such as Mcdar have stated it is important to document what has happened for future refference.. The funny thing is you say who cares however you did click on this thread wondering... Honestly I really don't give a shi* if you care or not.. I am going to post any information I see for the people who do care. Go find another thread to read if you are going to post nonsense...
Funny after your previous post who cares huh??? Must be you were on your FAT ASS watching when you posted this?????
I am trying to document...for people that are interested.. For those who are not then look at another thread.
big changes again happening on the test DC atleast in my sector http://64.233.179.99 Could this but what others are seeing spreading some?
I have not seen any change at all for this datacenter for my key words. And what's to guarantee that this will continue to be the test data center. In any case, I am glad someone is following so I don't .
There is no Guarantee with anything with Google. The only thing there is to go on is that Matt Cutts said this was the test Data Center and he also said that he may be calling for feedback on it soon. Who knows but reading on another Forum, earlier today the data from the test DC went live on Google.com on and off in some sectors.
This morning I found out some information regarding Google's "Test" Datacenters! 64.233.179.99 and 64.233.179.104 IF you perform a regular search you may see some interesting results... My Tools will not pick this up at this time as they search differently. On the Test Datacenters the experiment page is in Position #75 and Allinanchor #28 The cache date reported by that Datacenter is Nov 25, 2005 08:49:47 ( I have not previously ever seen THAT cache date) Searching the other Datacenters the page is in the 400s with Allinanchor #113 - The cache date is Dec 01, 2005 16:07:25 GMT I have checked this way and found a few other sites effected by Jagger in much better positions as well. Caryl edited to add: I have just checked through my daily results and found that a number of Datacenters were reporting similar results back on November 16th and 17th! for anyone who cares to look... Google October/November 2005 Event - Jagger
As a result of Jagger, one of mine fell from #2 to #25 for my main KWs. The only reason I could imagine is that I have a high number of junk IBLs and only a handful of real quality. Even so, I have felt that this site was unfairly punished. These test DCs have the site back at #3. So hopefully, G is getting a handle on jagger and reviving some of the babies that were thrown out with the bathwater /*tom*/
Actually this datacenter shows more actual results, but older cache dates... Weird! Are these results going live anyday?
Interesting, try "click here" (without quotes on 64.233.179.99) now of course adobe is #1, but notice who is #2............ Looks like we have some easy work to do.
Henny, I get XE the currency converter. Could you elaborate on your thoughts please - for the hard of thinking (like me) because I guess you must be meaning more than anchor-text?
OK, let me put it simple like..... Outbound links have more power now than ever with Google........... So link to your sites competitors.
