Hi guys. Some question about browsers and IE. 1: Is it point to do on a website warning about IE6? 2: When you are doing a website, on which browser version you are testing it. I mean how far backwards is point to test it?
IE is the weakest browsers for very awesome websites, and yes there are chances that your website could look different on different browsers. in recent time designers target to build Mozilla or Chrome browser friendly websites. you can check your website look with cross browser testing.
Thanks. I know that I can check a website, but let say if I see that a website is not showing correctly in IE7 is it point to fix it or is waste of time.
When website designing the website should performance with various web browsers like IE, Firefox, Chore and Safari as well. Because of these web browsers uses from world customers. As per my opinion try to develop the website with world major browsers looks fine. As per the new trend of smart phone users are increase so, website should be compatible with various devices as well.
IE is the weak browser, A site should be tested on firefox 5.0,3.0and on IE 8.0. These brower versions are mainly used. Else if site is working fine on firefox latest versions then test it on safari, opera. If the site is fine on safari then it must be coming fine on firefox. firefox latest version is having same features with safari and IE 8.0 and its latest version
