I know that your terms of service has to do with you own rules and regulations, but what is it exactly you need it terms of rules. I know that it all depends on what I am selling or what have you , but what should be the focus of the TOS? Info provided would be greatly appreciated.
First, your terms need to be in accordance with the law. For example, you could say that no person shall use any part of this website for any reason. Well, that's nice, but it violates copyright law so it's void. Additionally, you could say that your website is private and only certain individuals are allowed to view it. Unfortunately, your "private" website is operating in the public arena with an open door. Thus, this "rule" would be fallacious. You should focus on what others can legally do and not do with your service/item. Additionally, you want to disclose all disclaimers such as who is responsible for technical malfunction and so forth. You also want to spell out who you are, what legal jurisdiction has precedence in the event of legal action and how legal matters will be handled. When in doubt, contact the proper type of lawyer for your needs.
