    That term you quoted above is for sending spam to 3rd parties to join. What's
    your question about?

    What is thing this terms of service is for? They specifically talk about sending unsolicited mail, but spamming forums may fall under what they are talking about, not to mention forum spam is a terrible way to market something. You would be better off making thoughtful post in a forum with a link back to your site that people would actually click.
