Terminology Please....

Lots of terminology here, I hate to sound like a sheer an utter noob, but what does SEO mean...

 

You could at least do an effort and try to find out for yourself. Go to google and type define:SEO

 

Search Engine Optimization----doing certain things to make your pages appear at the top of the results for google/yahoo etc.

 

You dont know either huh...thats ok no shame in that....

Yay. Finally someone as thick as me. I haden't a clue on all the SEO, SERPS, PR definitions until I'd been here a few months.

In the 'How many websites do u have' thread where i'd written none. I got a green rep saying ''Surprises me, you seem to know a lot'' Hahahaha.

Made me laugh anyway. To say I know nada, would be an understatement.

BTW, Why be hard on the guy? What is so wrong about coming to a forum to learn things? I thought that is kind of what this forum was all about.
