Ok, just finished one 50 page final paper for one of my classes, now i'm off to go finish the other one which is due on friday. With as much time as I spend in front of this computer, my eyes are about to fall outta my head.
Well perahps you can write about a better subject then dishwashing on your blog in the future if you did a good job. Good luck.
Wendy I feel for you, no one hated school more than me, that is why the only job I can get is in construction since I never finished HS (1/2 credit short), mostly because of friends that I could not shake that got me thrown out of class because we were so high from smoking pot in between classes. Looking back I still laugh about it but it did cost me in the end. These idiots could not stop laughing when we got back to class so the teacher blamed me for it and flunked me out (this was in 1977 folks). Needless to say, do your best in school because you really can't get any great employment out there with out it. The only option for me was self employment and when business got slow I had to go out and get a damned construction job to keep from going under. Keep this in mind when your going through these hard times.
I am 46 dude, how old are you Air Nothing wrong with being self employed, I have been since I was 18 years old. I had to go get a job to pay my bills when business slowed down, that is what I said, RIGHT? Have you tried to get employment without a degree Air?
Hehe, well if i wasn't so burned out with these papers, then I would have the energy to write about something more exciting then dishwashers. Although, until the baby is born, my life right now is cleaning and school work
Not to make you feel old, but you got kicked out the year I was born I am actually in grad school now, after having been out of college for a few years and it is tough being back in it. It's a whole new world now One day I hope to get my PhD, but that is yearssssss away. However, since I am in the human services field, even with that, I'll never make that great of money.
I thought we discussed the fact that if you become an expert at something you could put up good content on websites or create a portal and make big money on the side until you have enough to quit your job
Ah yes, there is that option, which is a good one I'm actually taking next quarter off and will have a bit of free time, I should work on that
Yes, if you can build, update and maintain a lot of good pages and keep them hosted you can do well if the content is unique and original. Just have to keep working and building quality pages
You have my sympathy. My older sister is back in college and has a 9 year old. I've been working with her on getting a website started, and I know how rarely she has time to get together with me. I keep reminding her on school breaks that the sooner we get this thing moving, the sooner she has a chance to earn some money. Of course, a baby is an entirely different challenge than a 9 year old. I'm so grateful mine loves to sleep during the day... at least until I try to sleep at night!
I'm 27 right now. I thought you're 19 or something, no bad feellings. I'm new here and I don't know you fellows. I've more that 20 jobs in my cv. I'm doing it the hard way. And I never had one apllying with a cv. Tuborging, Martin
20 jobs on your CV? It must be longggggggg Well, just found out I got an A in that course. I haven't done any work today on the next paper due. blahhhhhhhhhhhh
Not to make you feel old, but you got kicked out before I was even born I left HS before I was meant to, to Anthony. Socialising was more important for me, how dumb. I had the most fun everrrrrr but boy Am i paying for it now *le sigh* STAY IN SCHOOL, KIDS! PS:] Congrats on your A wendy PPS:] I enjoyed your Dishwasher blog
