Hey Guys, I have recently written an article called Ten Steps of SEO. I know there are loads of articles like this out there but some of you may find it useful. I am currently writting an article for each of the ten steps. So if you find it useful you can subscribe to the RSS feed or email for updates. Ten Steps of SEO
That was a good post. I learned a couple of new things already. You are the Digital Member of the Day!
Nice web design. Good SEO tips. Remember, the most important part of SEO is having high quality unique content.
This is a nice summary of the tasks involved in SEO. Excellent work, and I'm glad to see you're preparing a more detailed article about each step. While I doubt you personally need the following information, others reading this thread may benefit. Here are some ideas to make more use of this information... Turn each step into a Tweet, and use a tool like Tweet Later to disseminate them over a 20 hour period (i.e. one per 2 hours). Each tweet should link to the original summary article. Follow this 20 hour period with another, posting 10 more tweets that link to each of the detailed articles Rewrite the original article as a series of 3 articles. Use different words, and provide about 3 times more content. Submit this article series to Ezine Articles Post tweets announcing each article as it goes live Rewrite the entire article series again (including the initial introductory article), and post it to your blog (using a 3rd party blogging site such as blogger) over an 11 day period (one article per day). By now, you'll probably have more than 11 articles worth of material. If you can make it 15 articles over 15 days, do so. Post tweets announcing each new blog entry Repackage the entire article series as an ebook, and sell it for $2. You probably now have many more pages worth of content, detail, resources and related information to include. Naturally this ebook should link back to related products/services you offer Link to all your articles and ebooks using social bookmarking sites such as delicious, digg, and so on Create one or more Squidoo lenses based on your articles. Make sure you rewrite the content. This content has to be as unique as possible. One strategy is to take a different look at a specific topic each time (e.g. begginer, advanced, tailored for a specific industry) Announce each new Squidoo lense in Twitter Link to one or more articles in Blog comments and forum posts where appropriate. It's only appropriate if the information in the article you're linking to adds to the conversation. if it doesn't, don't do it Don't try and do all the above in a couple of days. Give yourself 30-40 days, doing a little each day. A consistent drip is far more effective than one big splash (think of the long-term impact of water erosion over time versus the short-term effect of emptying a large tank of water). There are many more ways to reuse the same content, and maximise the benefit you get from it. If the information is good enough, it can keep you busy for months.
