    I am just about to start a new website and I want to use templates. I wrote my own class a while back but I need something more powerful, and instead of re-inventing the wheel I wanted to know what template-classes people here use. I went to hotscripts and there are quite a number of them there.

    Go for phplib. It has the best template class around. Also lots of other classes too. Will help you power ur web site thrice in one third of the devlopment time.

    Smarty is awesome and really easy to use, read the documentation and you will be good to go. Took me about 2 hours to figure it out well enough to implement it.

    Smarty is awesome, but almost too much so - it can become a programming language of it's own, rather than just being a presentation layer.

    I vote for phplib for usability. KISS and all that
