    Hey!
I consider making 10-15 wordpress themes and not to sell them only once...
I mean open a site and to sell them for let's say 15$ each.

will it be hard to get buyers ans where can I get them?

what will be the costs of this kind of site except of domain and hosting ofcource.. ?

** sorry if it's not the forum that I should post it in... :S

There are many places you could sell them, here on DP under marketplace, on sitepoing, or even on ebay.

$15 for a WP template? Will it be unique.. or is this just for the right to use it? If it's unique, that's a huge loss in profits.. designs can cost between $10 - $30 (depending on the quality) and then $40 + to code it...

It might be more profitable to sell them as sponsor links ;)

However, the WP market is popular right now! So, it may work out:)

I don't think that plan would work. There are thousands of free WP themes. Instead of selling them, put them to your site as an addon and give them for free. Of course all of them can have a link back to your site which can result a good traffic stream and earnings :)

It sounds like you're talking about non-exclusive templates. I doubt that would work as a profitable business model for WP themes, simply because there are so many great free ones available for people who don't care about exclusivity. People basically have no "need" for paid non-exclusive themes right now, so there's no business sense in doing it.

Selling sponsor links would probably be your best bet (I've seen themes bring anything from $50 to over $200 from sponsor links on the templates). You would at least have something to compensate you for your time, and others would get to use the themes for free.
