This question seems to be bit silly, but I want to know if it is possible to use different templates for free PHPLD script.
Yes is the my answer! As you can see there are many different types of templates available for PHPLD all over the web! Just Search for PHPLD templates on google ! you may get the answer!
Bunch of free templates - http://www.google.com/search?source...G,GGLG:2006-17,GGLG:en&q=free+phpld+templates I have a question that is semi related. I am in the process of creating a phpld template. How do I get the Title, Author and Image to show in the Admin back office when I upload the template. When you go into your back office under templates and it says who created the template. That is what I am trying to figure out how to do. Thanks p.s - not trying to jack the thread just though someone in here would know.
Simple friend just edit the readme.txt that you copy from the Default theme folder to your new theme folder accordingly. And create screenshot.png file for its screenshot and place it along with that readme file . enjoy
Yes you can change them, many are available. But you have to remove the previous template before adding new. (its not like wordpres or vb, where you can add as many templates and change according to your mood from admin panel )
Thank you guys for all the replies . I found lots of templates online. But, when I download them, I can't open or install it, as the file is .rar Can some one tell me how and where I should install the template in my script. I am using PHPLDv2
If the templates file are in .rar file then you need to extract the files. Here is one software which you can use to extract the file: http://www.7-zip.org/ Almost all templates includes a instruction file which will guide you step by step procedure to install the template.
Thanks. It seems like I was downloading wrong link instead of zip file. I sort that out now. I will share my new directory with all of you soon.
