Template Question

I downloaded a template and it contains:
A PSD of the finished site
All the images needed for the site
    The HTML

I edited the PSD to look the way I want the site to look, by changing the layers. The HTML, uses all the individual image files though, not the PSD. How can I transfer the PSD to all the individual image files so the HTML will turn out the way the PSD looks?

Sorry if I can't phrase the question right.

Just create new images out of the layers, and clean them up, then save them as new files.

Is that the only way though? It seems like there should be an easier way. My original pictures are off by a few pictures from the PSD ones.

There have to be slices in psd file. So it'll be easy to change images. That's only way to customize template.

Use the Slice Tool on the toolbar to cut up the PSD. I like to drag out guides first, then make slices with Snap turned on to make sure they're all exact.

The Slice Select Tool will allow you to choose specific slices and modify them. Once you're ready to export it, hit Ctrl-Alt-Shift-S (or Save for Web). You can choose to export all slices or just the ones you select. They'll be saved in a folder called "images."
