I just got some hosting from HagioHost and I have no idea how to upload the free proxy templates. The cPanel freaks me out. I heard to use Filezilla but I have NO idea how to do this. Anyone have some e-books or guides to get my site up and going (need adsense)

Have you ever uploaded anything to servers?

I use Smart FTP - it's easy to use when loading up files, but like other FTP programs it's easy to use. What exactly are you trying to do though, and what experience do you have with websites?

    Hello, Goobsta.

Filezilla is an FTP program, that is a program to transfer files between computers linked to the Internet, for example, your computer and the server that hosts your site. As nasph said, there is also SmartFTP that is free and very similar to Windows Explorer.

In a traditional website you don't send the templates. They are used to build the site at home, and then the whole site is sent to the server using FTP (file transfer protocol). Even if you are using templates, you need some elementary knowledge of HTML, the language in which web pages are written.

Things are easier if you use some sort of CMS (content management system) or blog. Maybe you want to try that way. Both systems allow the inclusion of AdSense.

Why don't you turn to HagioHost - maybe they could guide you through the process?
