    Those are some impressive stats and I would be interested in this domain. However, when I type Temley.com directly into google, the domain itself does not appear in the search results. This makes me think it is being penalized. Are you aware of any such penalties?

    Doesn't appear to goole search result doesn't mean it has been penalized. It only does not have page to crawled by the spider, that's why Temley.com does not appear at the Google search result. I believe you know better than me.
