Tell your adsense story

This is a thread to tell your story. Where did you start? What are you doing now? how long have you been in the "game"?

I started with adsense on a automotive forum. I got great highpaying keywords but horrible CTR being that it was a forum. I then made two other sites. One for Law and One for travel. I am still optimizing both of them and i am still pretty new to adsense(bout 3 months) i love it though. I am still making about 1.XX a day.

 

My site has been live for 5 months now and it is making 0.XX a day at the moment

 

I've been doing the adsense thing since May 1st and have made a whoppin' $0.54.



My site is only 23 days old though.

 

Well, I started adsense on 3 sites in late Feb early March this year, Money was pretty damned poor for quite a while, but gradually things have improved. Statistics are generally 50% higher every month (CTR, impressions, money earned etc) and google pays me out each month, so I'm happy. Just have to keep plugging away working on the sites. Yesterday someone put a link to one of my sites on their blog and it has brought me over 400 uniques in just 24 hours, so that has been a BIG bonus!

 

I've got a blog that I started not long ago that details my continuing details with another website, hiding nothing that doesn't violate TOS.

I'm hoping to give myself some reference material - (i'm way too disorganized) about what I've done and am doing now. I'm actually achieving very good results on the website i'm documenting - should help me to see what I've done to achieve this rather than just wingin it constantly. just got my 1st $100 a week ago


I have just started another 4 sites.


my 1st month i got $35

but now im getting like $10 a month

 

I earn nearly $1 a day....my site is only a week

 

I have been playing around with Adsense for almost 20 months now, as a spare time project working on the sites around 4-6 hours a week (and using almost the same amount of time checking my stats *lol*). In the first 4 months I made an amazing 10$!!

Then I stopped working on my sites for around 5 months and when I one day checked my stats I had made over 100$ in that period without moving a finger. What had happen in that period where that my sites had been indexed in all the major search engines and given me some good steady traffic.

This really inspired me to read a lot about SEO and I started optimising my sites with the knowledge gained. The following month I doubled my earnings and in the next two month the increase in earnings continued. Then one day I stumbled over a thread about increasing earnings by optimising Adsense placement, choosing the right colours, blending the ads with content and finally optimising the ads shown by working with the right keywords. The ad-optimisation process almost doubled my earnings the following months.

The next couple of months I launched 15 new sites with the same recipe and now I am making around 40$ a day and it increases every month and still only working around 4-6 hours a week on an average on the sites. Now I just have to multiply the earnings with 6 or 7 and then I can quit my day job and move to an exotic island and drink cool Piña Coladas in the shadow of the palm leafs.

Now back to my day job in good old cold and wet Copenhagen

hehe, cool. Was your site active before you started doing adsense? Like did you already have steady traffic?

I'm trying to get more traffic right now.. what a crazy thing...

I dont recall exactly when I signed up but it was sometime around two weeks back. I"ve made a whopping $2.9

 

Google kind of screwed me...I was cruising along toward my 100$ with 5 sites running, and my total went from 70$ to 400$ in one day. They cancled my account. I appealed, contacted my hosting service, found the company that spammed one of my sites, everything I could do. I even offered to have them erase the 330$. They still turned me down. I switched to yahoo, no problems and waiting on my third check.

 

i started 2 months ago and did not earn big, only 10 bucks, i'd rather developing new ways to improve adsense, rather than my earnings, allready send my proposal to bizdev dept.

I Got first my website 3 months ago and one months ago i run adsense on my sites not get preety results, Only Page impressions are 455. what i do can any guy help me.

 

i started about 2 years ago, when i started a site for students, took me about 6/7 months to get my 1st paycheck and I didn't think much of it till recently when I saw probloggers getting like 10K a month and so now, I'm trying to learn as much as possible before the hols when I'll start some real work =)

 

How many sites you are runing at this time

 

just with car forums, that are 3 months old..i double each monnth...make around 7.XX daily...

but very low paying ads...avg around nine-fifteen cents

 

i dont understand how some ppl on this board after a few months of a few sites are only making 1 dollar a day? are u actually putting effort and getting more than 10 people on your site a day?

 

I started in the late February. Started promising. In first two weeks of March I had 2$ a day and it grows. But, suddenly drop of traffic from Google and it droped to 0.10$ a day .
