there are too, it's just that a lot people have about as much self control as what could fit in a sewing thimble
What does self controll have to do with you waking up one morning with no more feeling of love or atraction for your maite? You shouldn't be forced by society and other peoples rules and beliefs to waste you'r time with someone you don't like anymore. And don't even try to bring the "But what if there are children at stake" argument cause there are always ways to take care of that.
clearly you have the wisdom of a 12 year old. are you much older than that? choosing a "mate" should involve a little more thought than what you describe...which sounds an awfully like picking what kind of cereal you want on any given morning.
You can stay you'r whole life with a person and find out you don't realy know them. Most people aren't good at finding the right person or seing how they realy are, you can't force them to spend they'r whole life with someone they made a mistake just because "they could have been more carefull" Why do mistreated women exist? Did some of them not think they found the perfect man before shit hit the fan? My age has no relevance in the discussion and please keep you'r personall opinions about my wisdom to yourself.
see, was that so hard to express some good thoughts on the subject? I think a lot of that, "whole life" is poor communication - people living their own lives despite being under the same roof. I think that happens to a lot of people that raise kids, the kids are their lives and somehow they neglect their own marriage so after the kids leave they look across the room and they don't even know the other person anymore! As far as mistreated women, that is far and away a different topic IMO; to which I am clueless why that sort of treatment exists. Age has relevance, just not in the manner to which I presented it..taking a shot @ you which was unfair
