I've got a catchy domain but I'm unsure what to do with it. Come up with a great concept and I'll ship $50.00 to your PayPal account instantly! The domain is karmojo (dot) com. It's a mix of Karma and Mojo, so the name is pretty self explanatory. The question is: what to do with it? Feel free to just write your thoughts in a post. As soon as I see an idea that makes sense, I'll award the prize!
Here's what you could do: Consider mojo as Mobile Journalist, freelance reporters who write their stories from their communities. Allow anyone to subscribe as mojo and write news and articles related to their community. Allow readers to give them karma and based on the karma their reach, reward them. Let`s say that for 10 karma points you pay them 1 usd. You use ads on the site to earn much more.
Turn the site into a Social Networking site - building on the word "mojo" and "karma" with popular tag lines like "express your mojo" or "Got Mojo". It can draw in users better than a forum or blog which will increase revenue and can be flipped for a profit.
Maybe some kind of social networking or news site focused towards the effects of karma on everyday life. Another one is a dating site.
karmojo (dot) com makes me think of some kind of exotic alcoholic drink or something along those lines. Or just an exotic island. Also, Joeshema is right, could be used as an Adult entertainment website.
karmojo : file hosting and every time a file is downloaded the uploader of this file gets a point as a karma and when he collects 500 points or whatever he gets some cash
karmojo can be another site just like digitalpoint. Karma = iTrader and mojo = Mobile Jobs As in you can host a similar forum where people would put in their queries and people who want posting and similar article writing jobs can apply there.The more the guys completes the job and either pays or recieves his/ her payment the more karma he/she will have. You can keep some portions of the forum Exclusively for members with a high karma where more high paying JOB offers would be available or else you can open that section only for people who donate some amount of their earnings to karmojo(dot)com after all it will be their prime source of income,this way youll manage all expenditures as well without even putting up a single advertisement.
Kar = take it as an alternate spelling for car. 1] A place for men and maybe women too to social network and share tips on dating and se*. Also to discuss cars. So kind of a social network for people who want to exchange info on cars and dating/se*. 2] A site that provides info and sells items to increase your luck and protect from evil/enemies and so on, charms, pendants,amulets etc. Items that increase Karma+mojo. Or a site that teaches magic tricks and sells magic learning books and accessories. 3] A site that talks/informs about the latest cars and about cars in general. A forum attached maybe, with a marketplace for selling & buying used cars. A place for car enthusiasts, people seeking info on cars, car sellers/buyers and so on. Maybe a shop attached selling car accessories/books.
I believe Mojo is a word used now in modern day as a kind of funny, nice and playful term. And karma on the other hand is a word which inputs into audience's minds "calm, good". So what I suggest you make is, a new website which is a relax site with fun stuff on it, where people can go there to have a laugh, view pictures, and maybe you can set up a free phpbb board which people can blabber on about anything. For me the domain would fit perfectly as a place to chillout.
i will advice that you use it for spiritual (karma) and god devotees. If you are from India you will make millions of traffics easily and it will even work international users. These types of site are quite rare and i am sure you will generate thousand of ideas easily. Talk about Yoga, spiritual life , magic and so on. I just can't get past the kar=car thing. Maybe a free dating site where everyone is represented by a car (like PlentyofFish everyone chooses a fish to match their personality). You can earn and use karbucks to purchase and customize your car, race for pink slips, take your date to a movie or out for a milkshake (earn mojo points by doing nice things like that), drive by someone's house (in other words view their profile) lol. Oh and I just thought of something. I had a friend years ago who was sneaking around with someone and he would always driving his "incognito car". So maybe have junky cars the members can purchase which gives them the ability to look at profiles or leave messages anonymously. Oh and the messages should be left under the wiper blade or something funny like that. If you are famililiar with MyYearbook, instead of gifts like those, members could give each other things like jumper cables and some corny caption like, "because you jumpstart my heart". I would make it lean more toward fun and sporty rather than cute - there is a enough cute out there. You could have a lot of fun with it and I don't think there is anything like it right now. I just thought of something else. You could have a button for the Drive-In for video uploads.
how about: - a karma website of sorts where users can trade and discuss random acts of kindness. - a user feedback and rating which gives them karma ratings for tangible goods, or services, transactions, trades etc.
what makes me think is kar = car .....propably a forum or blog , news related to all cars and car problems that occur ,new car releases , car spare parts , rare ones[cars , spare parts] and much more....and car lovers will simply love if you have a nice apt design with car icons , with names of the member levels related to cars and quality content stuff....then add adsense , add clickbank , add cj.com ads , just one each on a page or 2 . The niche is powerfull and good enough to fetch you more than $500 a month simply having 1000visits a day and some clicks and 2-3 purchases..but you should work hard on the quality stuff and serve people timely--- Just my 2 cents. or if you are going kar = karma ...then i can suggest you make some funny contest site which makes more people interesting to participate. make contest very short say one a day so that it gives credibility and the people who miss will again and again try if the contests held are cool. Finally you can give some cool gifts like certificates , or any other interesting stuff that you got for free.
